Last year we were pleased to play our part in supporting a fantastic cause. We created the promotional material for the Help For Heroes Ball held at the Danum Hotel. Have a look at the event below organised by our good friend Andy Peace at AEL and please give it your support if you can.

People with a need for adventure are being invited to experience what life on a UK Special Forces patrol is like. The event will be run on the weekend of 17th to 19th September to raise money for the UK wide charity, Help for Heroes, which helps those wounded in Britain’s current conflicts.
The countdown has begun to recruit the 30 participants who would like to experience what life in the British Army is like. Dressed in full combat clothing and issued with essential kit and ration packs, participants will spend the weekend in the company of former members of the British Army’s elite regiment, the SAS.
As a member of a patrol, participants will get a fascinating insight into how Special Forces patrols operate in the most difficult of environments and the skills required to survive. During the course of the weekend they’ll learn combat and essential survival, concealment and camouflage, navigation and lots more.
The event will take place at a private estate close to Penrith in Cumbria. The estate is steeped in military history and was used during the Second World War to train agents of the Special Operations Executive before they were parachuted into Europe to set it “ablaze”.
Event organiser, Andrew Peace, Manager of AEL Doncaster, says, “This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals to experience life on patrol, learn some key survival techniques and in turn raise lots of money to help our heroes rebuild their lives after suffering life changing injuries”
Each participant is required to raise a minimum of £350. To sign up for this amazing adventure or for an information pack call 01909 731743 or email info@life-survival.com.
For more information please contact: Andrew Peace on 07766 466545 or Tom Southern on 07718926022.
It is hoped the event will raise over £5,000 for Help for Heroes.
