Our cosy studio is lucky enough to be blessed with a mountain of vibes due to me being a vinyl cleptomaniac. For the New Year we’ve decided to make a point of making a Friday a full on vinyl day with Neil & Jordan compiling a playlist from the Head Honcho’s eclectic collection of old and semi modern tunes from genres you would never put together!
It’s a labour of love and the young Web Dev Dude is in his element picking through the many offerings on offer, revealing his childhood influences from Allerton snr and of course the Head Honcho is like a fox in a hen house, spinning discs as a greek waiter spins plates.
The young pup is amazed by the artwork that went into the all round package of an LP rather than the modern, bleak and lifeless digital files of today. He’s fully bought into the vinyl concept and is wholeheartedly behind the current renaissance. He’s a bit of a rocker at heart!
So we thought it only correct to share our guilty pleasure with our followers and elicit some feedback as to our choices. Of course we welcome any suggestions and will consider them for future vinyl Fridays.
