It was over 2 years ago when we collaborated with the forward thinking proprietors Tom Lewis and Darren Rhodes of local road surfacing company Derek Lewis Ltd, back then we revamped Derek Lewis providing the whole rebrand package from logo design right the way through to an all new website.
And again, on their 40th anniversary there has been movement within the ranks of Derek Lewis with a view to better embracing the modern market with a much more modern, streamlined website and a tiny logo tweak that made all the difference.
Knowing this 40 year strong brand has survived a few recessions in it’s time, we had to maintain the integrity of the brand when developing the new site, Head Honcho Neil and Web Dev Dude Jordan got together and suggested all kinds of ideas until we all came to a clear understanding of what the website should look like.
A professional website that is capable of dominating the local and national market whilst being worthy of the Derek Lewis name was the order of the day. The project was managed by Jordan and with Neil providing advice and a keen eye at various stages we was able to create something that we all felt had a really strong online presence.
Along with a cheeky change to the logo which involved changing the black chevron to a lighter, charcoal grey, removing the border around both chevrons and reducing the font size, Derek Lewis now have a fresh and distinctive brand and website upon which Darren and Tom can drive the company forward.
The site utilises WordPress which is a CMS development system that really lent it’s content manageability and flexible design to this particular project.
